In 2005, two ST44 locomotives were completely rebuilt by Bumar Fablok S.A. and delivered to the LHS line. Changes made, except new design of body, included new Caterpillar 3516B HD Diesel Engines and Primary Alternators. These locomotives were designated as 3001 and 3002.
This model is a conversion of M62 from Roco.
